Lady Gaga makes her "Rock Band" video game debut next week with a four pack of songs that will be added to the Rock Band Music Store, according to an announcement made by Harmonix and MTV Games. "Bad Romance," Just Dance," "Monster" and "Poker Face" will be available for purchase both as the "Lady Gaga Pack 01" as well as individual tracks on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, and as individual tracks only for Wii.Additionally, a special version of Gaga's "Poker Face" by Comedy Central's Eric Cartman will be added to the the game store's offerings. The track first appeared in the "Whale Whores" episode of "South Park," which will re-air on March 16 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. Lady Gaga joins over 400 artists with music currently available through the Rock Band platform. She is touring Europe and the United States this spring and fall, as part of her "Monster Ball" tour. |
TV cooking queen Rachael Ray is making her annual presence at South By Southwest bigger and better this year. And public.Ray's third annual Feedback Festival, slated for March 20, is moving to its largest venue yet -- Stubb's BBQ -- with 18 bands playing four stages; Daytrotter.com will be recording performances on one of them. The show, co-sponsored by Mr. & Mrs. T drink mix maker, will be free and open to the public for the first time, and the bash will be filmed for subsequent airing on Ray's syndicated TV show. |
Before they head off to Europe in June, Pearl Jam will augment its support of recent album "Backspacer" with a short run of dates in the midwest and East coast beginning in early May and finishing up with a two-nighter at New York's Madison Square Garden on May 20 and 21.The new U.S. dates, announced at PearlJam.com today, come as the veteran Seattle rockers prep to be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this week (March 13). As previously reported, Pearl Jam will also be playing at the New Orleans Jazz Festival on May 1. The band heads to Europe for a run of dates kicking off June 22 in Dublin and ending in Oeiras, Portugal on July 10. |
